I just got engaged this past January. I'm scared and excited and happy all at the same time. I don't know what the rules are when it comes to planning. I know for a fact that, though my parents helped my sister fully with her wedding, they have no intentions of helping me with mine. I don't know where to start actually. My fiancee and I have discussed the fact that maybe we may have something small considering we don't have the money to have a big wedding and many of my relatives want to come to the wedding. Yikes! We won't be married until October 2011.
