One of my favorite fall delicacies is the artichoke.  In addition to it’s delicious subtle flavor, the shape of the artichoke is intriguing.

Here are some fun ways these spiky vegetables are making a splash on the fall wedding scene.

1. As decor on invitations, napkins and other paper goods.

2. As stark and exotic looking wedding bouquets.

3. As table number accents and place card holders.

4. As candle holders – for tea lights, tappers and pillars!

If you buy locally grown artichokes for your decor, ask your caterer to incorporate them into brunch the next day or pack them up for you to take home!

I LOVE the artichoke invitation! I’m from Tennessee and I’ve been to Yee-Haw Industries! They make amazing things and to just watch them letterpress is a really neat experience! Artichokes look so cool :D !!!

I think it is very unique and original. I would have never thought of it, but I’m not an artichoke fan. You will probably save a fortune using them instead of flowers. Good for you!
