Meet the Junk Bonanza.
With her Minnesota roots, Ki Nassauer, a critical player in the Junk Revolution and editor-in-chief of Flea Market Style Magazine, hosts the best junk roundup in the nation at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota - now tiwce a year!. Hands down, one of my all-time favorite events and for the first time...in April (and with snow!?!!)
The Junk Bonanza is chock full of the most delicious vintage finds and inspiration. The vendors are wildly creative, passionate and the best of the best when it comes to showcasing their vintage finds. Vendors and shoppers alike come from all over the country to shop this A-mazing sale. Among my faves are Oh Mustard Moon (my favorite display this spring!), Uber Chic Home, Haupt Antiek, Sheer Addiction, Treasures n Trash and Cactus Creek. This event needs to be on everyone's calendar!
A tried and true Early Bird shopper of this event, I had to switch gears a bit and play a different role this year as I was one of the collaborating partners for another first for the Junk Bonanza, The Wedding Lab. More to come on that because it was SO GREAT and a whole other level of feature-worthy vintage inspiration.
But that did not stop me from getting my own junkin' in...and here's a glimpse of some irresistible Junk Bonanza eye candy captured by Jordi Lee Photography. Enjoy!
Find a seat...grab a snack and a drink (the Bloody Mary's are famous here - anytime of the day! No judging.)... evaluate your purchases and swing back by any things you debated about. I always say
...if they are still there, they are meant to be!
Looking forward to the next Junk Bonanza in September...and hope you too make the trek to the best junk roundup in the nation!
