Stacie Francombe is the founder and CEO of Get Married Media, a national, tri-media wedding planning resource that reaches passionate brides on television (WeTV), online GetMarried.com and in print (Get Married magazine).
2009 proved to be an exciting year for Stacie and Get Married.
In October, she launched the first issue of Get Married magazine, the new shopping and trend guide for the savvy bride. Stacie's vision was to bring some clarity to the chaos for all you busy-brides-to-be, offering remarkable trends for all tastes and the scoop on where to shop and save.
Season 3 of Get Married's television show takes on a new format, with real brides, real challenges and big surprises. Watch as Stacie connects with brides as they discover and express their unique bridal style, giving you tips along the way! Watch and learn every Saturday morning at 9:30am ET/PT on WeTV. (premiering January 2, 2010).
Stacie also oversees GetMarried.com, an interactive wedding resource and shop filled with tips, trends and inspiration. GetMarried.com includes products as seen in the magazine, video segments from the show, as well as a blog, articles, image galleries and wedding planning tools. Brides, everything you need is at your fingertips.
With more than a decade in broadcast television news, an entrepreneurial spirit and a lifetime passion for all things bridal, Stacie fulfilled her dream with the launch of Get Married Media, the marriage of online, television and print.
Stacie started her career while at Ohio State University, working as an intern and then as a production assistant in the sports department of an NBC affiliate. She moved to Atlanta in 1997 to join the then start-up CNN Sports Illustrated cable network as an editor and associate producer, and was promoted to a key producer for CNN International's global sports coverage. In 1998, she joined TBS as a writer-producer. In 1999, she founded Reel Creative, a full-service production house. In 2007, Get Married launched nationally.
Stacie currently lives in Atlanta with her husband and three sons.
