Modern. Chic. Danish.
I love it when a girl knows what she wants and she can make it work...beautifully! Audra and Rob celebrated their awesome day at the uber cool Marvimon House in L.A. This fete honestly had me at the brick wall, the taxidermy goat and this chic couple. Urban loft meets cool dinner party.
Audra, with an interior design gift was able to manage full creative of all of the details for the day. Love the look, feel and energy of it all. One lucky gold horseshoe, please! And the shots in Chinatown are a fun bonus...

Pink Sand. Limestone cliffs. Breathtaking views. Adorable couple.
Meet Kylie and Adam.
Self-proclaimed beach lovers, Kylie and Adam found the perfection destination for their wedding. Bermuda. The "Jewel of the Atlantic."
The Reefs Resort & Club provided the ideal backdrop for a picturesque open air ceremony and reception accompanied by the faint hum of rolling waves and calm ocean breeze and beautifully captured by Sacha Blackburne. Stunning. Take me there!

Meet Amanda and Kyle.
They love vintage. They love handmade. They love fun.
I love all of the details and spunk of this wedding...making RED the perfect accent color! From the red tulle peeking out from under Amanda's dress to those quilted shoes (want!) to the stunning handmade paper flower bouquets to their sweet smiles and dramatic poses as husband and wife.
Uber-darling.

I absolutely love discovering such a sweet and beautiful couple paired with charming details and personality to match!
Sarah of InFocus Images and Design captured this rural fete in Northwestern Minnesota, where Kelsey and Luke had one of the most adorable DIY-filled farm-chic celebrations. While Kelsey was the source of inspiration, knocking out all of the details was a year in the making and truly a family affair.
From the jewelry hand-crafted by her Aunt (I'm sweet on Kelsey's necklace!) - to the homemade jams and honey made with Grandma and mom - to the girls' hair styled by Kelsey's sister - and of course, all of the desserts made with love by some amazing women. It took a village!
Most significantly, the transformation of the historic, Coliseum on the Norman County Fairgrounds is off the hook - and without an ounce of tulle! The bunting, the lights, the wood panels. It's country chic at it's best!

I am unbashedly obsessed with a modern rustic wedding (...and this ridiculously amazing antler chandelier?!) So when I got a glimpse into Brienne and Andrew's wedding celebration designed and coordinated by Alicia K Designs, I was 100% smitten.
I'm not sure where to even begin as this celebration was in overdrive with charming details in the most perfect way. And wine country as the back drop?! Swoon. I love that Brienne and Andrew celebrated their love in such a big, beautiful way and it was so wonderfully captured by Kate Webber Photography.
And a bride after my own heart with words of advice..."Don't sweat the small stuff. Party like a rock star and enjoy every. single. moment." ![]()

There are three words to wrap up this wedding in a nutsell: FUN.ADORABLE.DIY. Just ask Megan and Patrick and their wedding captured by Tonya Jibben Photography.
With an ideal fall day in Central Illinois, charming details were everywhere under the big white tent. (And who doesn't LOVE a tented reception?!?)
From the paper chain garland to the egg crate bouquets and hydrangeas in roof flashing vases to the sprinkles cake to the homemade trail mix wedding favors, the details reflect Megan and Patrick perfectly.
A labor of love so sweet and authentic that you can't help but smile (and wish you were their friend...)

There is something so charming to me about a City Hall wedding...and one in New York City seems even more romantic.
I love New York wedding photographer Farnaz K Studio. Perfectly capturing the beauty and energy of the city while vividly telling Melanie and Jason's love story with such sweet and tender moments. Urban elegance at its best (and two of the cutest little boys ever!) Makes you want to run away to the city...

GORGEOUS.
With the most exquisite backdrop of the historic Honey Lake Plantation, Sarah and Jacob's wedding celebration is nothing short of breathtaking in all its southern charm and tradition.
Packed to the rim with loveliness, Sarah and Jacob's attention to detail does not go without notice. My favorites include the custom-made socks for Sarah's father, the lace wrapped around Sarah's bouquet from her mother's veil and vintage brooches adorning the cake versus flowers! Love it.
Unequalled in beauty are the grounds of Honey Lake Plantation...and Sarah and Jacob. Southern sophistication at its finest.
And I can't agree with Sarah and Jacob more...

Ahhh...Breathtaking.
I swoon over the beautifully classic feel of this white tent celebration overlooking rolling hills on a crisp fall day in Minnesota. Timeless from start to finish, Jasmine and Mike transformed the Gopher Hills Country Club into a course of loveliness with pops of deep purple and lime green.
With gorgeous floral arranged by the bride herself as owner of BelFiore Studio and sprinkled with so many thoughtful details, in Jasmine's own words, all of the little things "made the day."

Meet Nadine and Michael.
An amazing couple with a fantastic love story that is full of surprise and fun - a bit non-traditional but loaded with LOVE. And I think the best one to tell the story Nadine herself...
{ Ever since our first date, our relationship was full of surprises (for us AND for our friends & family!) On our first date - surprise! - the restaurant has computer issues so we were forced to have an impromptu date somewhere else. We surprised our friends and family when we announced we were expecting. Our son, Declan's name was kept a secret until he has born - surprise! Then, it was we're engaged - surprise!
Now for the best surprise...a wedding!
We "lured" our friends and family by inviting them our home for an engagement party! The best man made the announcement...
"Many of you may be wondering where Nadine and Michael are right now. Well, the reason why they aren't here is because they have decided to end their engagement today (long pause)...but that's because they are getting married...here...tonight!"
We made a grand entrance and then got married on our back steps. Perfect evening. }
I just melt with this story...and am so impressed they pulled it off! Love all of the personal touches from the chalkboard art to the DIY invitations to the Polaroid guest book and to the signature drinks. What a memorable and and fun surprise for everyone!

Us.
The perfect way to describe Jessica and Eric's wedding day.
This Minnesota wedding just makes me happy. Beautiful couple, beautiful family and the most beautiful day. Their celebration was traditional with the perfect amount of whimsy - just like them!
There are so many details in this wedding that made me ohh, ahh and aww... from Eric's two amazing children to Jess' Labradoodle, Biscuit to the gospel choir (love this!) to the father of the bride's Scottish kilt to 70's band, Boogie Wonderland (a local legend) kickin' out the disco in afros and bell-bottoms at the reception.
So many good things captured by Ling Photography that GetMarried is so excited to share! As Jess said herself... It was a wedding of contradiction and new normals. It was unique, special and real-like us.

Meet Jessica and Bill. Picture perfect couple. Picture perfect day.
This Real Wedding is extra special to me as Jessica and Bill are dear, dear friends of mine and I just adore them as a couple and as friends and am so excited to share their wedding!
After years of anticipation, their big day was finally here...they lead crazy busy lives and for them to be able to take the time and celebrate each other with their family and friends was truly awesome (and one heck of a party!)
So fun to go back to my hometown and not only help them celebrate but to be a part of the wedding party! I stood up on Bill's side as a groomswoman. Such a honor. Thank you!
I have to admit some of the best humor came from the rehearsal and the priest never having had a ceremony with grooms "women". (I thought Bill would have debriefed him on this!?) And I think if Margie, the church coordinator, has anything to say about it, she will encourage it with wedding parties to come...she loved the idea and embraced it fully!
The weekend was overflowing with charming details and personality...from the bridal party gifts full of memorable inside jokes to the handwritten letters to the groomsmen/women from Bill to the handmade pearl jewelry by Jess' mom to the choreographed dance to Thriller (including a pair of blinding socks and a sequined glove!). And the toast by the best man, Bill's brother, was heart felt and a true testament to when less is more. Perfect.
Jeffrey & Julia Woods Photography captured the beauty and energy of the day completely. Absolutely gorgeous (and fun!) just like Jessica and Bill.

What a beautiful day in the Alexander Valley and the most adorable couple!
Jennifer and Chris had a truly picturesque setting for their wedding on the grounds of the breathtaking deLorimier Winery. From the giant oak tree overseeing the ceremony to the luscious winery lawns for dinner and dancing. What a fun celebration of love!
And I am so excited to share the details of this charming family affair captured perfectly by CinZo Photography.
And what a talented family...
Jen's brother played music while the guests arrived and her cousin sang the song for the first dance. Jen's aunt wonderfully arranged all of the flowers from Vine Hill Farms. And the bride herself is an amazing pastry chef at The Lodge at Torrey Pines and created all of the heavenly cakes and cookies!
{My youngest brother has a super cute little Datsun roadster that he decided (as a wedding gift) he would get up and running, polish it up and drive me to the altar in it. The time we shared in the car together was really special and helped calm my nerves right before the ceremony.}
{Since our wedding was a destination location for many of our guests, we wanted to show off some of the great local things they could find around like using Flying Goat Coffee to be enjoyed with the wedding cake, great cheeses from California for our cocktail hour and the fish caught right from Bodega Bay for entrees and of course, wine from the picturesque Alexander Valley.}
I
these champagne cages shaped into mini chairs to hold the place cards!
Jen and Chris made everyone homemade organic jelly with a variety of fruit from the San Diego farmer's market.

Wow.
We are kicking off the week with a STUNNER that's not only elegant but tons of fun! Nothing like a summertime wedding in Minnesota and this one has personality plus!
With Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove, Minnesota as the backdrop coupled with fresh and modern details, Shannon and Derrick's wedding was perfect to a tee.
From the chic Tiffany blue & red color palette to the tunnel of sparklers and the late night bonfire and s'mores, the couple's celebration exuded sass and surprise...just like their personalities!
