I am constantly looking to update my playlist so I jumped at the chance when Martha Stewart Weddings asked if I wanted to share the mega-playlist curated by Grammy-winning artist John Legend for his post-ceremony celebration with bride Chrissy Tiegen.
Oh my gosh...I absolutely adore this couple...and to get a playlist curated by John Legend?!? I'm in! (and so are you!)
The 60-song playlist (yes, that's more than four hours!) is perfect inspiration to set the tone for any upcoming reception, bridal shower or dinner party. It's fantastic. He had me at Son of a Preacher Man. It screams (rather, sings) cool cocktail party on the patio to me...even if I'm just on the banks of Lake Minnetonka and not Lake Como, Italy. It features Aretha Franklin to Led Zepplin and everything in between. Click here to check out!
And as exciting as the playlist is to me, so are the three GORGEOUS Vera Wang gowns Chrissy wore throughout her big day. I LOVE seeing the sketch to reality for each of her stunning looks.
I simply love a winter wedding.
Having one myself, I truly have a soft spot for sunshine and snowfall on your big day. And Melia and Ryan were blessed with just that!
Sarah Pollio Photography captured them celebrating their nupitials in true Minnesota fashion. Surrounded by family, friends and an enchanting winter wonderland - all with effortless elegance. Winter never looked so good...

Sometimes you just fall in love with the space...and that's what I did when I saw this inspired shoot by Happily Ever After Weddings.
Welcome to The Waterhouse - Warehouse Room.
With a soft spot for a lofty warehouse, I was so thrilled to learn it is a "new" event space back in my hometown. HEA Weddings was the first to shoot here and lucky me, I get to share! I am so looking forward to their seeing their first wedding take place here in June.
The Waterhouse is the new kid on the block and well on it's way to being quite popular! A photographer's lofty dream. Think of the pretty pictures?! And...one heckuva party...

Meet Katherine and Jordan.
Now, take a deep breath and embrace the perfect combination of old Hollywood charm with a modern twist.
Ritz-Carlton. Seven layers of tulle. Swarovski crystals. Vintage jewelry. Chandeliers with cascading Quenn Anne's Lace flowers. Gold accents. Candlelight. A hot pink electric violin. (Yes! the bride's BFF, Sarah Charness, renowned electric violinist brought down the house!)
Absolutely stunning and the most amazing celebration of love, family and friends in the heart of Miami! Enjoy!

What's not to love about a wedding celebration that spans 4 days?!
Lauren and Andy really know how to make the most of a beautiful thing. Deep sea fishing, luncheons, a low country boil, an enchanting evening ceremony and a hoppin' reception at One Ocean Resort & Spa to ring in the New Year!
I am so excited to share this magical day (and night!) of Lauren and Andy as I LOVE the idea of getting married on New Year's Eve. I can't imagine a better way to start the year together. Captured with perfection by Meghan Stewart, this is a celebration we all wish we were invited to! Cheers!

These are the kinds of weddings I love to share.
Meet Kate and Bobby. A classic couple with the perfect dash of panache. All you have to do is check out their vibrant color palette to get the picture! Gorgeous.
The backdrop is one of my local faves - the iconic 14th floor Dome of the Millenium Hotel, overlooking downtown Minneapolis. Stunning.
And, I'm a HUGE fan of thoughtful details and Kate and Bobby definitely infused them flawlessly in their celebration. From each bridesmaid having their own unique bouquet to the wine cork escort cards and most endearing, the tiny brids in Kate's bouquet because her Grandmother loved them. And all were most fabuolously captured by D. Brey Photography.
This wedding is so lovely and timeless just like Kate and Bobby.

I am loving this e-session sent in from Elegance by ACE. In true Southern fashion, Xenia is stunning and Sheldon quite dapper coupled with infectious smiles. They have such a cool vibe (and great taste in music!) that was captured perfectly by Photo 225.
Makes me want a bunch of balloons and a romantic picnic in the park. Stat.
The sky's the limit!
Katrina and Peter's nuptials have one of the most amazing backdrops of an airplane hangar. Yes, an AIRPLANE HANGAR. Stunning.
I adore all of the dreamy details captured so beautifully by Kelly Chandler Photography. And I am smitten with the stories behind each of them...Katrina's love of shoes (bless your heart!), the restoration of the vintage car with her father in anticipation of the big day, her father's lucky rocks, the paper airplane toss, cuisine from FOUR food trucks and the twin-engine plane replica groom's cake where the proposal took place...all of the oh-so charming accents perfectly reflect the fun and adventurous spirit of Katrina and Peter.
This darling couple's motto was to have "One hell of a party...the party of our lives!" Katrina and Peter definitely did not disappoint.

Modern. Chic. Danish.
I love it when a girl knows what she wants and she can make it work...beautifully! Audra and Rob celebrated their awesome day at the uber cool Marvimon House in L.A. This fete honestly had me at the brick wall, the taxidermy goat and this chic couple. Urban loft meets cool dinner party.
Audra, with an interior design gift was able to manage full creative of all of the details for the day. Love the look, feel and energy of it all. One lucky gold horseshoe, please! And the shots in Chinatown are a fun bonus...

Pink Sand. Limestone cliffs. Breathtaking views. Adorable couple.
Meet Kylie and Adam.
Self-proclaimed beach lovers, Kylie and Adam found the perfection destination for their wedding. Bermuda. The "Jewel of the Atlantic."
The Reefs Resort & Club provided the ideal backdrop for a picturesque open air ceremony and reception accompanied by the faint hum of rolling waves and calm ocean breeze and beautifully captured by Sacha Blackburne. Stunning. Take me there!

Meet Amanda and Kyle.
They love vintage. They love handmade. They love fun.
I love all of the details and spunk of this wedding...making RED the perfect accent color! From the red tulle peeking out from under Amanda's dress to those quilted shoes (want!) to the stunning handmade paper flower bouquets to their sweet smiles and dramatic poses as husband and wife.

I absolutely love discovering such a sweet and beautiful couple paired with charming details and personality to match!
Sarah of InFocus Images and Design captured this rural fete in Northwestern Minnesota, where Kelsey and Luke had one of the most adorable DIY-filled farm-chic celebrations. While Kelsey was the source of inspiration, knocking out all of the details was a year in the making and truly a family affair.
From the jewelry hand-crafted by her Aunt (I'm sweet on Kelsey's necklace!) - to the homemade jams and honey made with Grandma and mom - to the girls' hair styled by Kelsey's sister - and of course, all of the desserts made with love by some amazing women. It took a village!
Most significantly, the transformation of the historic, Coliseum on the Norman County Fairgrounds is off the hook - and without an ounce of tulle! The bunting, the lights, the wood panels. It's country chic at it's best!

I am unbashedly obsessed with a modern rustic wedding (...and this ridiculously amazing antler chandelier?!) So when I got a glimpse into Brienne and Andrew's wedding celebration designed and coordinated by Alicia K Designs, I was 100% smitten.
I'm not sure where to even begin as this celebration was in overdrive with charming details in the most perfect way. And wine country as the back drop?! Swoon. I love that Brienne and Andrew celebrated their love in such a big, beautiful way and it was so wonderfully captured by Kate Webber Photography.

This wedding had me at the yellow tights.
There are three words to wrap up this wedding in a nutsell: FUN.ADORABLE.DIY. Just ask Megan and Patrick and their wedding captured by Tonya Jibben Photography.
With an ideal fall day in Central Illinois, charming details were everywhere under the big white tent. (And who doesn't LOVE a tented reception?!?)
From the paper chain garland to the egg crate bouquets and hydrangeas in roof flashing vases to the sprinkles cake to the homemade trail mix wedding favors, the details reflect Megan and Patrick perfectly.
A labor of love so sweet and authentic that you can't help but smile (and wish you were their friend...)
There is something so charming to me about a City Hall wedding...and one in New York City seems even more romantic.
I love New York wedding photographer Farnaz K Studio. Perfectly capturing the beauty and energy of the city while vividly telling Melanie and Jason's love story with such sweet and tender moments. Urban elegance at its best (and two of the cutest little boys ever!) Makes you want to run away to the city...
