Cake plate obsessed, I fell head over heels for these whimsical numbers by IMM Living via Pure Home.
The horse head was a must-have and CANNOT WAIT to use it! But I do love the display with all of the animals together...so fun that they truly do "take the cake!"
Cheers!

Macaron love. Six and a half feet of macaron love.
The Westin St. Francis Executive Pastry Chef Jean-Francois Houdre has created one of the largest Parisian macaron wedding cakes in the country!
Chef Houdre and his team put in over 75 hours creating this fantastic work of art. More than 1,000 handmade Parisian macarons in various sizes and flavors make up this decadent masterpiece.
A sampling of the unique flavors include lavender, rose water, chocolate blueberry, pistachio (my fave!), yuzu and almond. Dainty sugar butterflies embellish the sides of the cake and the top is adorned with the most fabulous delicate sugar flower!
This dreamy wedding cake is currently on display for the public in the Landmark Lobby of the The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco through May 6th. Check it out...fantasy come to life!
Cheers!

Cutest take home boxes ever by A La Modo!
Pie and cake seem to be the obvious choice but how awesome for a slice of pizza as you are closing down the reception and need a late-night snack! Love.
Top it off with a custom painted fork...and it looks too cute to eat! But you'll get over that fast...and dig in!
I {heart} wedge shaped boxes.
Cheers!

Drink wine. Give to charity.
ONEHOPE wine has been popping up at a number of celebrity weddings and events lately. And for what better reason than 50% of the profits are donated to charity. So awesome.
I love that what was started by eight friends as a personal mission to help a friend who was fighting cancer has turned into a thriving business based on a simple principle: giving back is good business.
Now one of the most recognizable cause brands, ONEHOPE has raised over $750,000 for a wide range of charities. An effortless way to make a difference...and more proof that passion is powerful.
This unique label is available in hotels, restaurants and in retail locations in select markets across the country. You can always visit ONEHOPE online and see if they ship to your state.
Let's give everyone hope and make a toast to ONEHOPE!
Cheers!

Labor. Art. Ingenuity.
Inspired by the American Dream, Wisconsin artist, Alisa Toninato has created the coolest hand-crafted iron skillets on the planet.
With my strong Midwest roots, I am always partial to anyone who has had residency in Minnesota or Wisconsin, and Alisa and FeLion Studios is no exception.
I love her notion of utility art and her connection to DIY scene, hometown culture and American optimism. I love that she built her own small operation iron art foundry. I love that she uses old-school techniques of wood patterns and two-part sand moulds to pour her cast-iron skillets.
I just flat out love these pans. (And so does Martha Stewart. Alisa was recently named a 2012 Craft Honoree for the American Made Awards.)
Okay, so I can't stop dreaming about these pans. Envision the ultimate Wisconsin grilled cheese made to perfection in one of these seasoned skillets.
Some of the original pans are for sale but I was excited to learn that she contracted with a Twin Cities foundry to manufacture the "Cook with Pride" Wisconsin skillet - with Minnesota and other states to soon follow!
Made in America. (Quite beautifully, I might add...)
Cheers!

Holy Sugar Rush! These are sweets with swagger.
Vintage Confections took my breath away when I saw their lollies that truly looked too good to eat! Definite conversation starters.
Martha Stewart and BRIDES dig them too with recent features in their publications. And Dylan Lauren even had them at her bridal shower!
It's so fantastic how they can customize them perfectly for your wedding - or celebration. Theme, color, monogram, size...
Here's a sampling of some of my faves in their Etsy shop.
Perfect as favors or even table numbers! I think I need to have a party! So cool. So Willy Wonka.
Cheers!

I am in love with all of the mini food options out there...and pies are at the top of my list!
I am a hard-core cake fan but the comfort of a pie seems to make weddings even more personal.
...and the varieties are endless!

Undeniable cute (especially with the flavor flags and fun shapes) and there are my new obsession. Just hoping I don't make the cupcakes too jealous?!?!
Cheers!
I can't believe my sangria-lovin' self is so late to the party with the Calimocho! Where has this been all my life?!? And it's so much fun to say...calimocho!
This Spanish concoction is a worthy signature cocktail that is easy-peasy and a perfectly delightful combination.
Preparation:
50-50 split between a cheap dry red wine (Trader Joe's is always for good this) and Coca-Cola (regular Coke recommended v. Diet or Coke Zero). Ice well. Add a squeeze of lemon and lime. Enjoy!
The wine cuts the sweet and the Coke adds the zing. Yum-O.
Cheers!
Cocoa & Fig via Hearten
I'm not sure I have seen a mini-dessert represent my home state better...Pie on A Stick! I absolutely love this idea in SO many ways. Warm. Rustic. Homespun.
I'm a huge fan of Cocoa & Fig - and this one takes the cake...no the pie!
Cheers!
