So in my last post I told you all about the three dresses i made and you saw the reception dress...well now it's time to see the dress that I won't be wearing for the wedding, but did weard for a Trash the Dress session with my photographer. After she heard about my many dresses she proposed the idea to me and I loved it. Doesn't every gril want to run around in a pretty dress and get it dirty? Well, we met up at a local little beach here in madison and took some great shots. All photos are courtesy of Blue Dandelion Photography. Here are the first few...
Anyone else do this?

So if you've read my profile you'll see the i am a craft machine. A true passion of mine is making dresses for no reason at all. If i have an idea i just go to the fabric store, find some cool fabric and make it, never to wear it again(i know, i'm crazy) Well, my wedding dress story is a little funny. I made my first dress and two weeks later decided it wasn't quite me. So i made my new dress nad absolutley LOVE it. Then, i was thinking i might want something a little more simple light and loose for the reception, so i made a third dress. Yes, I have THREE dresses! Not to worry, I'm not wearing them all. The first dress I used for a Trash the Dress session with my photographer(more on that later), I'm wearing the second one for most of the day, and I'll slip into the third one during the middle of the reception. I know i'm a little crazy. Don't worry though, i'm not going to leave you hanging...i'll show you the reception dress and save the other two for a later date.
My fiance and I are huge soccer fans and have been playing since we were kids. He is the youngest of three boys that are all four years apart. They all played for the same college and his parents went to every game of theirs for the last 12 years!!!!(the in-laws are awsome) After thinking we wanted a church ceremony, the thought crossed my mind about having it outdoors at a soccer field. LIGHTBULD!!! The home field for his college is a beautiful stone stadium with ivy everywhere. After talking to the parks division, we are all a go with our ceremony to be on the field. We know it's a little out there, but it's fun, totally us, and still has a hint of elegance. Anyone else have a different type of ceremony spot?
