I made some heart garland with some extra doilies from my showerette to decorate our fireplace for Valentine's Day. I think this could be a simple and pretty wedding decoration too :)
Last year when we registered at Crate and Barrel for our wedding we were given this pretty glass heart bowl. On Valentine's Day last year I filled it with pink carnations and used it as our table centerpiece for dinner. I love carnations because they are inexpensive, simple, and so pretty just by themselves :)

Eric is going to be a groomsman in his friend's wedding this September. We just received their scratch off save the date for their wedding in New Jersey :)

This past weekend my friend {one of my bridesmaids too} came to visit and surprised me with this recipe journal from Williams Sonoma monogrammed with my initials :) I think this would make a great bridal shower or wedding gift too!

My mom suprised me with a dried bouquet from our wedding when I was home for Christmas :)
I hope everyone had a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year!
On another note, Sarah, from one of my favorite wedding blogs, Classic Bride, just opened up her own shop, SD Calligraphy, on Friday. She did all of the beautiful calligraphy for her recent wedding too!

Yesterday we received the CDs with all of the photographs from our wedding! Now what to do with 779 photographs? :)

Here is our tree that we decorated with snowflakes, seashells, and some ornaments we both had using the extra aqua blue ribbon from our wedding. I created temporary ornaments from our white table decorations too :)
