I am in love with this business card. See tons more here on DailyPoetics. Other ideas I love: a handwritten, then letterpressed card; a calligraphed card; anything on a tag. All of these cards could translate into beautiful wedding cards as well.

Ceremony Idea: Instead of having guests throw petals or rice, give them little packets of lavender to throw--the scent and color will be amazing.
Guest Book Idea: Visit your local antique store and see if you can find a huge old book (I found one of old bound newspaper articles at my local shop in Iowa). Glue in library pockets, one onto each page. Have your guests sign library cards and stick them in the pockets.
I'm back from a beautiful vacation--sorry for the long break! Now I'm back and ready to write about more tiny and wonderful details!

Here's a favor idea for a romantic NYC wedding: Wrap an apple in pretty pink and white lace.
Check out more details here.
I love this idea! (from Jeff + Amber's wedding via Once Wed)

I'm dying to try the new at-home teeth-whitening product iWhite--apparently celebrities have been raving about it. iWHITE's light activated tray has a flashing blue light that activates foam strips to scientifically speed the whitening process in just 20 minutes. $45. Has anyone tried this product?

Groom's Gift: DNA 11 can create a split portrait with your and your fiance's DNA, and can also do portraits with your lip prints and fingerprints. What a fabulous gift for your groom on your wedding day (and to show him your future children's DNA!).

Loving this idea! For a unique gift, and a great photo op, give each of your bridesmaids parasols with the first initials of their names. Only $30 from Parasols by Alison.

Bridesmaid Gift Idea: Boone Books on Etsy uses vintage book covers to make blank journals! These are gorgeous and one of a kind. Being a lover of books and a lover of all things vintage, these are right up my alley!

Bridesmaid Idea: Pack your bridesmaids lunch (to eat while you are getting ready) inside these beautiful stainless steel lunch pails. Or, search ebay or lunchboxes.com for vintage lunchboxes like My Little Pony or Strawberry Shortcake!
