When i started to plan my wedding I never thought that it would be as perfect as my dreams. I have always loved the 1940's Hollywood glam. I remember looking at my grandmother's photo's as a child thinking how beautiful she is and how I would love to step back in time and be part of that perfect woman and the glamour of that era. I always had an idea of what i wanted however NOTHING prepared me for when the doors open at the reception that i would be entering a 1940's movie. The tables, the boas, the entertainment, the beautiful flowers, the dance floor and the music were all so perfect. I had my Frank Sinatra and I was his Ava Gardner.
As much as i knew what i wanted, I could have never put it togehter without my mother's help and without endless help of my event planner. www.traditionallymodern.com I just wanted to share some photo's of my wedding day and to let everyone know that if you dream it, the wedding of your dreams can happen.
My bridesmaids wore long black dresses with brooches in the middle and a bird cage hat. The groom and the groomsmen wore black pin striped suites.
