I just feel like I have to share some pictures with everyone of this wedding I went to a few summers ago. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. It took place at the bride's parents estate in the Hamptons. The reception was held in a tent in the back yard. Sounds quaint right? Here is a picture of the tent...

The waiters were serving water and lemonade as the guests arrived. Yes, that is a bridge over the pool to get to the tent. And yes, it was carpeted...
Here is a view of the back of the house with the guests arriving...

Inside the tent, no detail was overlooked. Even the ceiling of the tent was tufted fabric.

It was a jewish wedding so there was a chuppah that was totally covered in floral arrangements. The tent even had to be built around a Japanese Maple tree that you can see on the left side of the image above.

The guests were greeted by a 10 piece orchestra who also played the ceremony music. It was truly incredible. Stay tuned for pictures from the reception...
I spend a lot of time on You Tube looking at wedding videos (because I am a dork like that) and found this video. Hope my hubby-to-be will bust something out like this...

I mentioned that I'm not sure about having a destination wedding or not, but if I have my wedding in Mexico, I will DEFINITELY be ordering these for the welcome baskets! Hotlix Tequila Flavored Lolipops with a real tequila worm inside. Salud!

I don't know about other brides out there, but I plan to be comfortable on my wedding day. Thats why I am going to design my own Chuck Taylor All Stars! (These pictures are just an example) You can choose every part including a different color for each side, the inside, the tongue, and even the laces.

You can also add a small phrase either on the side of the shoe...

Or on the back! No tripping down the aisle in these....
