So we picked 4/22/2011 to get married! It's Good Friday and at first I was like maybe I shouldn't do it then but I asked alot of people and they think its fine. So, I am happy with our decision and our venue now I cant wait to pick out more ! So excited we will have fish for anyone who wants it seeing it is Good Friday. One other problem is flowers will be alot more expensive. So I might go the silk route for my bridal bouquets and we will be doing fresh centerpieces. So if any of you have done this or are going to do it, I would love to see pictures.

Please let me know what you think .. We are going to have our wedding in April 2011 and live in MA so we never know what the weather will be. Christina's provides a nice indoor cereomy that I love .. Indepence harbor does not, it is in the main room .

Okay so i have an aunt who is a wedding planner and everyone thinks its assumed she will be [planning my wedding .. the catch is she is very controlling and i don't want her to take over the show. Its my wedding. So we decided to do it on our own.. is there a nice way we can say thanks but no thanks- anyone have this problem ?

My best friend called me and told me that a bridal store is going out of business and all of the dresses are 99 dollars and that I should check them out and see if I can find a wedding dress.
However, my only hesitation is that this might be to early to pick out a wedding dress. We know our wedding is going to be a night wedding in April. So my question to all of you is: has anyone gotten their the dress that early?
I feel like if I find the one I really want why not. I don't plan on losing more weight or anything so I might as well check it out right?
I want something very simple and classy, nothing that is going to look dated in ten years. My mom and aunts wedding dresses had huge puffy sleeves. I am very short and definitely don't want to look like the flower girl so I am looking for a dress with very little puff.
So what do you think, should I take a chance and look?

Okay so we saw a venue we love and the only question I have is are the packages that include everything like the cake, invites and flowers, and food are they worth it? I have no idea how much this would actually cost so is it better and easier to go this way?

Okay so looking at venues online i have notice LOTS of place don't have prices and include alot of things . What are the main question i should ask when looking at a venue ?

Okay so it hasn't even been a week that Andrew and I have been engaged and i am already trying to find the Perfect venue. We are paying for the wedding Ourselves and need to find something that isn't very expensive. We are having about 125-135 people at the wedding and we have decided to do it in April. Anyone know any good venues in the Boston area that are reasonable ? And i also wanted to know what the average prices for a Dj ,Photographer and cake are ? if anyone could help i would love the guidance.. I feel like now that we are engaged and set on April 2011 its gonna fly by. I want a simple wedding that i can share with the people i love..
if any of you have any ideas i would love to hear them !!

So its actually happening im engaged!! so now comes the fun part- planning!! I feel like 2011 is far away but I'm sure it will fly by .. Does anyone have any good idea on how to enjoy this special time of engagement ?

My name is nicole and i am in love with amazing man who is my best friend and the love of my life
So here is our story .. Andrew and I met throught a mutual friend in high school . I went to catholic School and he went to public . and we were only 15 at the time. At first you just think its nothing .. But we ended up being together all through High school. I went off to college and things changed i dated other people and he dated too. But one thing still remained. The love that we had for each other. I talked to him everyday no matter what. Even though he had a girlfriend and I had a boyfriend we knew that someday we would meet again. A year went by and it was our time I had realized he was the only one that made me complete and Happy . So everything feel right back into place like nothing ever changed . It was better than ever and everyday i still feel so lucky.
So after that we dated for another 4 years so we have been together for what seems like forever.. all my memories involve him . Now its almost been 8 years together .. Its amazing how time flies.
Andrew proposed to me on Oct 17th and all i know is how lucky i am to be spending my life with such and amazing guy.
we will be getting married in April 2011 and i can't wait to be called his wife.
