Check out the below details straight from LIFE & STYLE WEEKLY:
Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s wedding reception was a candy lover’s dream. The place was filled with more than 17,000 packages of sweets!
“Lamar has a huge sweet tooth and has been a fan of Wonka Candy for a long time,” a publicist for the company tells Life & Style. “They contacted us on Friday, almost last- minute. That was partly to protect the secrecy of the wedding, I think. They requested tons of Wonka Candy.” To create this candy land, Wonka pretty much depleted its storeroom in Seattle to send the rushed shipment to the happy couple. "We heard from Lamar's rep this morning that everyone was going crazy for it and absolutely loved it. We sent a huge assortment, but people especially loved the Nerds and the gummies. We heard there were around 250 guests,” the publicist adds.
It must have been amazing to be a guest at this candy themed wedding. Have any of you been to a candy land themed wedding or a wedding centered around different sweet treats? Tell me about it here!

In this week’s Life & Style Khloé Kardashian talks about her wedding plans to LA Lakers star Lamar Odom. “We fell in love and were talking about marriage so fast,” Khloé, 25, tells Life & Style in an exclusive interview. “We went to dinner with my family at Boa recently, and he asked my mom if he could marry me!” And the engagement will be even shorter than the courtship: The happy couple plan to marry on Sept. 27, ahead of the start of the NBA season on Oct. 7 says a source. “Lamar starts his season soon, and we want to be married,” gushes Khloé. “We have good energy and chemistry. I’ve never met a man that makes me feel more at peace with myself.”
Here are a few more details about the big day straight from Life & Style:
The Bridal Party - "My bridal party is a surprise to me," Khloé told Life & Style. Kourt and Kim are keeping the seven lucky ladies who get to stand by Khloé's side during her romantic ceremony a secret from the bride-to-be.
The Ring - Lamar gave the soon to be bride a 9-carat radiant cut diamond on a paved band reports Life & Style.
Apparently Khloé & Lamar have only been dating for a few months. I wish them the best of luck, but this does seem like a very quick engagement. What do you all think? Congrats to the happy couple!

I hope you were able to check out our interview with Yusef Austin of Elite Elixirs this morning. He is a mixologist who specializes in creating fabulous custom made drinks for guests to enjoy at events including weddings. He created 4 amazing drinks for us – The Emerald, Exotique, Vietnamese Lemonade, and The Conquistador. To see the ingredients and directions on how you can make these cocktails at home CLICK HERE
Custom-made drinks are a great option for brides and grooms who want to add a personal touch to their big day. I like it when cocktails match the color scheme of the wedding or reflect the couple in a specific way. I am constantly hearing about couples that customize their drinks based off of countries they love - Margaritas for those who like Mexico or Daiquiris for couples who love the Caribbean.
Have any of you customized your cocktails or bar to reflect your personal taste? Did your guests enjoy the drinks? Write all your delightful drink details in the comments section below.

Fall weather is finally here. It is cold and pouring rain outside my window in NYC! Fall brides should prepare for the change in weather conditions to guarantee perfection on wedding day. Here are a few things to remember:
1-Pack Pashminas
This is especially important if you are getting married outside and are not prepared for cool temperatures. Make sure to select some sort of cover up (ie. pashminas, scarves, etc) for outdoor wedding day photos or for the walk down the aisle. Don’t forget about your bridesmaids! They should not be standing outside freezing cold. Pick a color that goes well with their dresses to guarantee everyone looks picture perfect.
2-Protect Your Shoes & Gown
Do not put on your shoes or gown until you are ready for photos. I constantly hear about brides who get dressed too early in the day. One bride I know stepped in a rain puddle while walking into her venue. Another got splashed by a passing car! We all want to look wonderful on wedding day. It is best to get dressed and take photos in a dry environment.
3-Use Appropriate Makeup
It is hard to predict fall weather conditions. It might be humid and wet outside, but cool and dry inside. Be sure to bring makeup for all weather scenarios to your wedding venue so you can make the appropriate touch ups. On my wedding day it was 65 degrees outside and I was hot! I needed constant touch ups for my face. I was so nervous, which caused my face to shine! Better to be safe than sorry so plan ahead and bring as much makeup as possible.

This morning on Get Married we showed you all about mountain weddings, which are a great option for brides who want their wedding to be at a destination, but don’t want to travel out of the country to get there. Many mountain locations provide a different outdoor background season to season - from snow to lush greenery to colorful flowers…all beautiful for photos.
Check out this gorgeous Aspen mountain wedding our very own Colin Cowie planned:
I have never been to a mountain wedding, but hope one of my girlfriends plans one soon! Have you ever been to a wedding in the mountains? If so – where? And – what season? Tell me all about it!
This morning we interviewed Randy Fenoli, Fashion Director at Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. He told us all about the latest hot trends in wedding gowns. One specific trend – BLING – was a standout. Check out the video below of Randy describing this gorgeous Pnina Tornai gown.
What do you think about this dress??! It takes a very brave bride to pull off this look! The gown is beautiful and the model bride looks fabulous wearing it. Are there any trends in gowns that you have fallen in love with this season?

This morning on Get Married we featured Mary Giuliani of Mary Giuliani Catering. She filled us in on the latest trends in wedding catering.
Check out her TV segment here.
When I got married my husband and I wanted our food to reflect our personalities. We LOVE sweet treats so during our dessert hour we asked our caterer to prepare our favorite desserts. We also wanted our desserts to be in miniature form! We had mini s’mores, milkshakes, cookies, cupcakes, and ice cream sandwiches. All our mini treats were served to our guests on the dance floor. Everyone loved our dessert hour.
One quick tip – if you decide to do something special like this with your food be sure to tell your photographer to take photos of the food before it is served so you can see what everything looked like before your guests dig in!
What kinds of food are you serving on wedding day? Are you picking a menu that reflects your personality?
I hope you caught Get Married on Lifetime, which aired this morning.
Check out one of my favorite segments from today’s show:
I love how Peter & Paolo paired purple and orange together. This color combination screams sophistication! I also like how they accented with the silver chairs. All the colors go together perfectly. The low flowers, high candlesticks, and bursts of color throughout make a truly fabulous table.
Have you seen any color combinations out there that pop like this?? Tell me all about your rainbow of colors!

Be sure to check out Get Married each moring at 730 am on Lifetime. Monday's show will be all about how to make a grand statement on wedding day. Stay tuned!
I just saw the cover of this week’s People Magazine and I wanted to share it with all of you. Look below at the GORGEOUS Alyssa Milano on her August 15th wedding day! I have been a huge fan of Alyssa ever since she was a little girl on ‘Who’s The Boss’. I am happy she found her Mr. Right! It sounds like it was a star studded event. Our very own Colin Cowie was the event planner. People Magazine is reporting Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Piven were both in attendance. See event details from People’s press release below:
Exclusive photos and details of the August 15th wedding of Alyssa Milano, 36, and Hollywood agent David Bugliari, 30, are featured in this week’s issue of PEOPLE magazine. Held on a grassy field at the 39-acre New Jersey estate of Bugliari’s family, the traditional country-chic ceremony was performed by an Episcopalian priest amid hay bales and cream rose petals, and included a reading by actor Bradley Cooper, a friend and Creative Artists Agency (CAA) client of the groom.
The bride wore a custom ivory organza and tulle Vera Wang gown. “She looked utterly romantic,” says Colin Cowie, who was their event planner. “Every detail was a reflection of our love for family and nature,” Milano tells PEOPLE. “We wanted a laid-back event with a relaxed feel.”
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their 175 guests headed for a nearby tent decorated with farm tables and wrought-iron chandeliers for the reception, which included a five-tiered wedding cake by Cheryl Kleinman.
The newlyweds met almost five years ago at the offices of CAA, where Bugliari works. After first becoming friends, they began dating in 2006.
For six pages of exclusive photos and more details from Alyssa Milano’s wedding day, pick up the August 31st issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.

WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK OF ALYSSA’S WEDDING DAY LOOK?? I LOVE THE DRESS!
EASTWICK STAR SARA RUE ENGAGED
Life & Style Weekly is reporting that Eastwick star Sara Rue is engaged to teacher Kevin Price. See the release below:
Eastwick star Sara Rue is getting married! The actress tells Life & Style that she got engaged to teacher Kevin Price just nine days ago! The pair went for a hike and picnic in Malibu before sitting down to dinner where Kevin proposed. Sara tells Life & Style, “As the sun was setting they brought the bill. I said, ‘Let me treat you to dinner because you planned the whole day.’ And he said ‘No I’m going to get dinner because it would be weird if I let you pay since I’m about to ask you to marry me.’”
Sara, who starred in the TV comedy Less Than Perfect, was married to filmmaker Mischa Livingstone for more than four years before filing for divorce in 2007. She wore a black dress to her first wedding, which was in Las Vegas, but tells Life & Style that she is opting for a more traditional wedding this time around. “I want a white wedding dress, family and friends,” Sara says. “I want to do everything right.” They have not yet set a date. What do you think about different color wedding gowns? I hope Sara does wear a traditional white gown this time! This summer has been busy with lots of celebrity engagements and weddings. I am excited to see how many more there are this fall. Congrats to the happy couple.
