Ok so lately i have been worrying myself sick about what I want my hair to look like for the wedding. I have since cut my hair and it is natural.. totally different from my profile pic. Its a nice length, but it curly curly.  Most days I wear it pulled back in a puffy pony tail. Here's my dilemma, my hair all around the hair line is straight or wavy, and in the middle its thick and curly. For my head piece I want a halo of flowers. My stylist has been pushing for me to straighten/flat iron my hair for the wedding.. but if you know like I know, when any type of moisture hits curly hair that has been straightened, it reverts back to it natural state.  My wedding is in August... the beginning of August. I am really not trying to walk around in my beautiful dress, with a poodle on my head. I want something that is beautiful, but doesn't require me to put a lot of heat or strain on my hair. I have searched every search engine that i can possibly think of to find a hair style but to obviously I haven't found anything. I am afraid that if push comes to shove that I will just have to end up pulling my hair back in to my every day puff.

I never would have thought that 3 of my best friends would cause me the blues. I have 4 bridesmaids. My little sister being my  maid of honor.  The other 3 are really showing how selfish they really are. One of my bridesmaids thinks my wedding is prom, and I'm at the point where I really wish she didn't buy her dress so that she wouldn't be in my wedding.  My fiance doesn't think that I should feel that way, but when someone continually disappoints you, after a while you start to feel different about them. She and I have been friends since 2001, so we have some history. But its like all of a sudden she has turned in to a person that I  don't even know. I don't know what her problem is. I have thought of every thing possible thing that it could be. I thought maybe it was jealousy but she was married already and it didn't work out.  I have just come to the conclusion that  after the wedding she and I may no longer be friends... it has gotten that bad.

Another bridesmaid.. there is no excuse for her. She is just plain selfish. I told them all I wanted their dresses ordered by the beginning of April. It is now the end of May and she still has made no move to get her dress. Let me remind you that my wedding is the first week of August. The dresses take 6 weeks to come, so that means she needs to order her dress by the first week of June to get her dress in mid July. But get this she also needs alterations. MAJOR alterations.  What is also sad is that she is planning my bridal shower. I am so grateful that my mom is helping her, because I feel that if she was to do it alone that there would be no bridal shower.

I feel so sad about this because you would think that the happiest moments of your life would be enhanced by the people that are close to you. But it seems like they are just putitng a damper on my mood. I has been really really hard not to just say.. Um you guys can just go kick rocks lol

Ok so I'm a little late on the blogging to track my progress :) So my wedding is in August. August 8th of 2009. I've been engaged since March of 2008. Please believe me when I say that it has been a loooooooooooooong and haaaaaaaaaaaard road to get to this point.  BUT I am proud to say that I am 85% done with my planning. To all the guys.. future brides share this with your loved ones.... GIVE THE BRIDE WHAT SHE WANTS!!!! LOL.

So let me give you the microwave version of the last year and change.  In November of 08 I had my heart set on this BEAUTIFUL boat house. It was on the water, in this gorgeous park. Everything was perfect, until the coordinator that I was working with left and my case was placed in someone else hands. Well let me tell you things did NOT run smoothly after that. The boat house had prefered caterers that you had to choose from. At first I had not problem with that until I saw the prices of these caterers. They tried to bleed us dry...  No I'm not cheap with my wedding BUT I am on a budget. The food alone... we were looking at $5000-$4000. FOR FOOD!!!!!?!?!?!?!? So we found one that was in our price range but tragedy struck when we went for our consultation and tasting. Everything about that day was just wrong. We pulled up to a house, where the owner lead us to the kitchen..in a shed. Now idk if it was just me being judgemental but that just didn't look sanitary to me. BUT my theory was correct when we saw a cat..a freaking CAT sitting in her kitchen.  A cat that seemed to us that had been there for a long time. What really got to me was, there was no attempt to remove that cat from the kitchen.  We then went in to her living room to do our tasting and had to wait while she put the dog away...

As you can imagine, I had had enough. i called the boat house and told them out dilema, and they were absolutely no help. The woman actually got really nasty with me. It was then when I decided to take my business else where.
