Yesterday, I found out that one of the florists that I have on my list of possible charges a fee to just sit down and talk with you. I have spoken with other florist but all they have said is we would make an appointment.
Next, go over what I make like. Maybe look at pictures or ideas and come up with an estimate of prices. Has anyone on here ever paid a fee to sit down and talk with a florist? I have never heard of this but hey maybe you have.
I am still working on planning my wedding and also trying to plan a budget. The girls at work came up with the idea. We don't have to save the top tier of the cake. (I'm already past that one year mark)
So, they get a smaller cake. Have the lady who made the cakes, make a platter of cake pieces. Like this one and serve them to
the guests. What do you think?
Also, I had the bridal party all decided, now everyone wants to be in the wedding. My sister in law was offended I did not ask her. My husband has 3 sets of family (Mom family, dad family, and the step-family) I included my sister and brother, his sister from his dad side, and brother from his mom side.
They are driving me crazy and yesterday, I almost had a meltdown, to go off and yell: "THIS IS MY WEDDING, I'M PAYING FOR IT AND I CAN DO WHAT I LIKE, STAY OR GO IT'S YOUR CHOICE!!"
Then my friend from NC called and told me to breathe, relax. She always makes me laugh. Would I be wrong for stating my piece or am I being a unreasonable? Opinions please

Not really a good picture because of the lights but I love this ring!!
I did get a chance to go to target today. I was so excited they had so much things on clearance. But I did not crazy and buy a whole bunch of thing. I only bought the wedding planning book.
I think I'm going to let my Jr. Bride have this kind of dress.
I love these invitations from Michaels. Blue is my favorite color. What do you think.

So, yesterday a friend of my husband's family comes over. Her mom was completely ragging on me because I'm having a wedding. She is like your already married, what's the point? She sure did say a lot of things to make me feel small.
So, with me being a Christian I have to think before I speak. I told her If I want a wedding I can have one. Every one deserves to walk down the aisle. I am not going wait until my 25th or 50th anniversary. Besides, who said I'm going to live that long?
Next, they complain about the colors it took me two weeks to come up with the colors. I came up with like a Pool (blue) for the bridesmaid, the guys will wear white tux's with pool (blue) and the a maid of honor will wear like a silver. I thought the maid of honor always wore a different color.
So, what If I have been married for 5 years, If I did not die in Iraq. I believe anything is possible. What do you think? I would appreciate your feedback on this.
I am excited and frustrated all at the same time!!! Wow! is that possible.
Here's why: My Husband and I were dating for two years, and we were discussing engagement. Suddenly, I was getting to deployed to iraq. So, on May 9, 2005, we exchanged vows with a minister. On May 19, 2005, I was on a plane to Iraq. My plans were to have a wedding when I returned but then the Military was trying to extend me and send me back over seas. Next, I had a son.
Somewhere the time flew bye and threw the ups and downs, Next year will be 5 whole years of marriage. I can't believe that it has been this long. I have always dreamed of having a wedding. I am also sensible too because I know we have to pay for it ourselves.
I just started planning, any helpful ideas on ways to cut costs and make this day original and spectacular. I also found a place to rent my wedding dress from. That is so awesome. I never knew planning a wedding could be this much work but I will not give up on our dream just yet. Everyone deserves the chance to walk down the aisle.
