Recently a Dollar Bazare opened up about 30 minutes away from me. I had been in it a couple of times and had remembered seeing some wedding supplies. So I took the chance and stopped in Saturday. I was SO amazed at what I found.. Everything I purchased was from Wilton and it was from $1-$4.. Woo Hoo! Here is what I got:
Wilton Pull String Bows- These were $4.00 a box and 10 came in a box. All you do is take the string and pull it and you get these big beautiful bows to put on the the ends of pews or where ever. They are beautiful! I got 3 boxes of these or a total of 30 bows.
2 boxes of Thank You Cards. These were only $1.00 a piece and I got plenty enough to send everyone a Thank You Card after.
3 packs of gold heart seals for the backs of my invites. These were only $1.00 a piece and you get 6 sheets in each pack! PLENTY enough for all of the invites.
I also got tags where I can go to the Wilton website and print out our how tags to hang on the favors or whereever with our monogram! These were only $1.00 a pack and I got 2 packs of these with tons in them..
This is all that I got at the Dollar Bazare. They didn't really have a ton of stuff but I was so excited because these are the first purchases for my wedding and they were an awesome price! :)

We aren't having a photographer. I know, WHAT!! It is just way to much to pay for one. The cheapest around me is $950.00. I know this is cheap probably considering everywhere else. But it just isn't fitting into our budget. So, I have decided to have my Aunt take pictures with her digital camera, she takes really good pictures, then take them somewhere and print them off. I also don't want a photographer because I only want a couple of pictures of me and Todd and then pictures of my bridesmaids and Todd's groomsmen. I know that there are going to be a ton of pictures taken at the actual wedding so I don't need a photographer to take pictures of my wedding cake and what not. I can do that.
I have also decided to make my own Invites. And I am also going to make my own card box. I have been finding really cute websites for these and have decided I am going to just make my own!
I am just glad that I have started so early and can make a lot of my own stuff and not pay a lot for it!..
Thanks for reading, I hope to hear from you!

Hi everyone,
I just started planning my wedding about a week ago. My fiance and I have finally settled on September. 4th of 2010! So I have a whole year plus some to get everything ready and perfect! My fiance and I have been together going on 6 years and engaged for 4. We have 2 beautiful boys together. Ages 2 and 9 months.
Here is what I have planned for my wedding so far:
My wedding dress- I am not sure yet. I want to be able to try on a bunch of different dresses to decide which is the right one for me. I have picked out a few that I like from online. But we will have to wait for that. :)
Bridesmaid Dresses: These are going to be Brown. The color on Davids Bridal that I like is called Truffle. I was going to do an Olive Green color but the green that I had picked out was a limited color and they only have 3 dresses in the color I wanted and I don't like any of them. That was a bummer, but totally okay!!
Flower- I am SO excited about my flowers. I love them so much and they fall right into my whole Fall theme that I have going on. .jpg)
I have decided that I am not going to have real flowers. I don't really want to have to deal with them. I also have compared prices and I am going to save money buying fake flowers and having my Aunt put them together for me. I am really excited about these. So far this is the most exciting thing going on in my wedding planning. :)
Cake: I am going to be having a old school teacher of mine do my cake. She is charging $1.00 per person. So my cake is going to be around $100.00 or a little more. Here is a picture of a friend of mines cake that she had for her wedding that I am going to kind of go by.

I am only going to have 3 layers instead of 4. I am not going to have the bride and the groom on the top of it. I am going to have my Aunt make another little flower arrangement for the top. I am also going to buy a few extra flowers for the sides to match my flowers. I am not going to have the little dots on the sides like this one. And my ribbon is going to be brown to match my Bridesmaid Dresses. Love it! :)
Location: We have our location picked out. I am really excited about it because we are going to be able to get married and then go directly to our reception. I know that I hate having to travel from the wedding to the reception. But that is just me. :)
Food: The food we are having a buffet style. Things like Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Deli Meats, Beans, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I really like this idea because everyone in my family will participate and help with it!
My Favors- I have really been having a hard time coming up with my favors. I know that I just started and all but after adding everything up, the ribbon, bags, whatever is going inside of it, it started to really add up. So I have decided to have a Candy Buffet to match my Buffet for our dinner. I really liked this idea and I have seen it quit a bit latley. So I think that is what I am going to be doing for that.
So far this is all that I have planned out. I think that I am doing pretty good since I just started around a week ago. I will update everyday new things I have decided to do or change. :)
I hope you all decide to follow my blog and comment!!

My name is Trisha. I am 22-years-old. Me and my fiance have two beautiful boys together. Ages 2 and 9 months. We have been together going on 6 years and engaged for about 4. I love the color Green. Even though the color is not going to be in my wedding. (Sigh) The color that I wanted was a limited color and since my wedding is i the fall I have settled on Brown. It is still going to be beautiful. :) I love to make my own stuff. I love to make home made cards and scrapbook. I do get bored with it after awhile but in the long run I know that it is going to save me money. :)
