I have had so many people tell me about how they got their cake or photography or food, drinks, ect. as gifts. I am on a super tight budget but don't want my guest to "pay" for my wedding. what is a way to be suttle about wanting wedding items and gift cards to cover costs without being tacky? I would rather have an amazeing wedding that everyone will remember than a blender. Any suggestions?
My Wedding date is set for June 11, 2010 and I can't Wait! I feel like I am trying to rush everything, I am realy big into haveing everything planned and I want this day to be perfect! I finally found a nice place and it is $2,900 for the wedding and reception. I can add more stuff but I am trying to keep the cost down due to the fact that my man is in the miitary and we are far from rich! I have been trying on dresses and I think I have found the perfect one but my mom wants me to wait incase I change my mind on what style I like, but this dress is only $399 and they offer free alterations and I can do layaway! I am doing this to soon?
I am haveing a military wedding colors are going to be white and Blue with Red as the accenting color. My man is wearing his uniform and I want my boquet to be blue roses with white one spred out in it like the stars on the flag. My bridesmaids dresses are going to be bue with a white ribbon to accent my dress and the groomsmans tuxedos are going to have red vests, I have know clue what I want my cake to be like, I'm just affraid The red white and blue is going to be to much..
