I have been so busy with school trying to finish up my BA in Interior Design before we get married next spring that I am just now getting time to scan and post our save the dates. I found the postcard save the date design online and thought they were so different. I contacted the designer, Marit Hanson and asked if the design was custom or if she had a template to re-create for us. Luckly, she said she could re-create the postcard save the dates for us. I was so excited! They turned out just like I pictured them...
As soon as we sent them out; we got so many phone calls and emails with everyone saying they loved them! I was so happy because I was looking for something very unique that no one has seen before. It was worth the extra money we spent; now we just have one less chandelier for the reception. Ha, ha. We recently contacted Marit to design our invitations since she did a great job but it was WAY out of the budget we had set aside for invitations. We are still searching for a custom invitation designer in our budget. I have a feeling it will be challenge since the save the dates were such a big hit; I really have big shoes to fill to blow them away with the custom invitations but I am up to the challenge!

...it started with a lunch date at the Cheesecake Factory!
I am a Florida girl planning a wedding to my Georgia boy! I am loving every moment of it esp. the design. The date is set for our 3- year anniversary, March 11, 2010. We have decided to do a outside tree-lined / waterfront wedding at the Westin In Tampa, FL. Just a few more months to go and I will be Mrs. Daniel. I am so excited!!!
I have recently started my own blog so when I am married I can keep all of our friends and family up to date with whats going on with us. Thanks to Blogger Brides site, I have fallen in love with blogging and enjoy it very much.
