So why wait for the wedding? We love this cake from Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. The cute stack of bags can make a tempting centerpiece for a shower, a bridesmaids' luncheon, a day-after-the-wedding brunch or even an after-the-honeymoon get-together.
Cake designer Buddy Valastro said it was created originally as a wedding cake but he gets lots of requests for the design for other events. So if you're stumped for a quick idea to build a wedding-related party theme around, just say, "Let them eat cake!"
