The New York-based Walker is known for designing upscale, luxurious affairs but admits it’s the simplest touches she enjoys the most. “My favorite event was a bridal luncheon at a historical barn in Deer Isle, Maine,” she says. “The engaged couple were writers and we found antique typewriters to serve as centerpieces on picnic tables. It was so simple, yet said so much about the couple personally.”
